Howdy Mothers and Others

store news updates we're back

The baby tux, a true original, created by a painter and fashion illustrator, wanting to work at home and look after a beautiful daughter. In 1980 I used a "plain yellow ONESIE, redesigned it, creating the first tux pattern, sewn in black and white, eye popping! The baby tux looked different than any other garment available, inspiring a mini movement of clever Onesies and baby costumes that followed. These were all basically Onesies cut up, and redesigned to suggest costumes. Ballerinas, Santa & Mrs. Claus, were quick to follow, Pumpkins, Lions, Superheros, house pets, even tiny glittery glam Onesies for a year old baby.
